My World Cup Memories is a personal illustration series inspired by the FIFA World Cups I experienced while growing up.
It started in 2002, when I was eight years old and watched the tournament for the very first time. Every edition that followed brought unforgettable moments, iconic players, and stories that stayed with me long after the final whistle.
Through this illustration series, I revisited the moments that defined each World Cup I experienced as a fan and transformed them into artworks that celebrate the emotions, memories, and narratives behind the game. From Miroslav Klose's iconic hat-trick and front-flip celebration in 2002 to Lionel Messi finally lifting the trophy in 2022, each piece represents a memory that shaped my journey as a football fan.
More than a collection of football illustrations, this project is a visual timeline of the World Cup moments that have stayed with me for over two decades.
